Where: Lake District England
Activity: Fell Running; People: Martin Beale; Description: Twisted right ankle severely during The Saunders Lakeland Mountain Marathon. I apparently tore the ligament loose from the anklebone. Sounds nasty!
Fracture: possibly a tiny bone ripped off the anklebone;
Treatment: X-Rays showed no fracture - use crutches for two weeks; Permanent damage: unknown.
