I was in Buoux, France in the Autum 1996. Buoux is one of France's most famous climbing places and it features a picturesque gorge with steep and long faces of superb limestone bathed in the provencial sun.The routes are considered some of the hardest in Europe with most of the routes featuring small finger pockets and perfect friction. Everything is generously bolted and the rock is easily accessible from the small village of Buoux. Comfortable French sports climbing at its best. I you are on a fast connection to the internet then try to download a little movie (7MB) from the trip in Buoux. |
