Grenoble Bastille Via Ferrata

Some people go running in their lunch break, some go swimming. I go climbing - okay, not real climbing like under normal circumstances, but still good fun. All sorts of features - like a festive hanging bridge

The "technique" is easy - you follow some massive stables and keep clipping your cow tails into a wire. I actually managed to get pumped at some stage.

How do you open this thing? (notice the skateboard in the rucksack for the decent).

Okay........... and then what?

The French savages has even placed some pretty convenient footholds on the route - imagine somebody doing that in Stanage, UK?. Still, it's a sort of okay way of getting some exposure and you can do it alone.

View over Grenoble on 27 March 2001 - I live on approximately on pixel number 72 from the left and 400 from the top.

And then we are ready for the skateboard decent. But that's another story. Equally boring.
